iomega external drive broken hard drive

I have an Iomega HDD1H4 that no longer works and out of warranty. I think the disk head is damage because it makes a clicking sound. Is it possible to replace the hard drive with a new one from another HDD mfr like Seagate or WD? If so, what size is the disk and what is the type of connection?

I belief it is a Ultra max drive 3.5" SATA drive inside but you can check to make sure ftp://ftp.iomega.com/net/partner/hdd/hard_drive_matrix....
If it is SATA any compatible drive should work.
