I have ; HP Pavilion dv6-1211ax Entertainment Notebook pc CD rom drive is not working

How long have you had the laptop and is there any warranty left? does it show up in computer and disk management? What does it say for the drive in disk management?

warranty of laptop is over.disk manager shows cd-rom driver is up to date
