Hi is there a program that I can use to overclock my Intel HD 4000? Thanks.

Intel Extreme Tuning Utility will do it. But the gains you get are next to nothing.

Yes, add a discreet graphics card.

^ This. You can overclock the HD 4000 until the CPU blows up but you will still have integrated HD 4000 graphics. You need a graphics card to game well in any newer titles.
