Running on Stock Cooling at the moment until my Hyper 212 comes in, but I decided to overclock it to around 4 GHz and temperatures never seemed to be a problem. The only problem I've had is the constant instability. The CPU will be cool and then suddenly freeze up and crash. It could take 15 minutes or 5 hours for this to happen. Can anyone offer some help on this?

Overclock: 4 GHz
Vcore: 1.35
NB: 2200 GHz
RAM: 1600 MHz
Motherboard: ASRock N68-VS3 FX

Thanks!

you ned to up your cpu voltage, which will raise the heat, so be prepaired. just nudge it up by.05 volts, run prime 95 to test stability, then raise viltage a bit more if still unstable, but i couldnt reccomend overvolting to more than 1.5 volts, if even if that.if you are getting lockups and freezes, your cpu is undervolted for the higher frequency, if you get bsod's, your ram is likely overheating or undervolted.
