Hey there,
I'm nearly completed with my first build and am having some trouble with selecting RAM. The motherboard is the P7P55D-E Pro and the processor is a Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz. In the motherboard manual it says "Due to intel spec definition X.M.P. DIMMs and DDR3-1600 are supported for one DIMM per channel only". I plan to overclock in the future so basically... Should I fill up both channels with 1333 or grab two sticks of 1600? Thank you for any input.

All in all, it really matters on how you want build and how much you want to spend building this. For anything less than video/photo editing, 4GB is plenty of RAM. If you're not needing a high amount of RAM, you could go with 2 x 2GB @ 1600 with low latencies. Also noteworthy is Intel's statement about RAM voltage; don't exceed 1.65v.
