Which way to I face the fan attached to the heatsink?

This is a Hyper 212 Plus Heatsink/fan

On the guide in this forum, the fan is attached one way in this screenshot:

But on everything else I've seen, the fan is facing the other way, like this:

I'm not sure which way is the right way.

It really just depends on the case itself and what case fans there are and what directions that they're facing.

Since I have 2, one in the front blowing in and one in the back blowing out, I'd turn it to blow out the back.

I prefer to have the fan blowing air into the heatsink instead of pulling air out of the heatsink. But that, I think, is only a preference.

i would put it to where it is blowing air into the heatsink(second pic)

than use your rear casefan to pull the hot air out
