I would like to overclock my CPU using AMD VISION Engine control center, but I am concerned I might fry it or something here are the current specs:

Processor AMD FX-6100 CPU (6x 3.30GHz/6MB L2 Cache)
Liquid CPU Cooling System [AMD] - Standard 120mm Fan
8 GB [4 GB X2] DDR3-1600 Memory Module
AMD Radeon HD 7870 - 2GB - Single Card
Motherboard ASUS M5A97 -- AMD 970
Power Supply 500 Watt
256GB OCZ Agility 4 SSD

I also have an LED intake fan and a cold cathode, I am worried this might be pushing it for a 500w psu. I'm probably going to get a corsair tx750w psu for christmas BUT THATS ONE MONTH and planetside 2 is pissing me off, in some regions I'll get as low as 17 fps and I know it's my cpu causing it.

i have the tx750 and i love it... i dont think the amd vision will let you go too far with it... i set my bios to auto OC my athlon x3, it wouldn go past 3.5ghz. i manually put it to 3.6 and it was a no go
