Installing vertical disc

Hello, i have a 3-inch installation disc (for a mp3 p
player), but it wont stay in the hard drive - it keeps falling out. What to do?

Does your cd drive have a tray that slides out or is it slot loading? If its common tray style, chances are that it has an slightly recessed area for 3in discs. Try laying your computer on its side and put the disc in. When you're done using the disc, remove it and stand your computer back up.

its a cd drive, not a hard drive...
but yes, that is one way to do it. good point. i never thought of the fact that smaller cds wont work in sideways cd drives. OOOODDDDDD....

Does the cd tray not have little legs that slide out to hold small format cd's in place?
