I'm going to be ordering the CM 690 II Advanced, and I was wondering whether anyone knows the model #s for the stock fans? I know the size and RPM from downloading the manual, but want to pair them up with some additional fans and control them together. Or is simply knowing the size and RPM sufficient?

Thanks!

I have a regular CM690 I just ordered, and could look in my case and tell you the model #'s if you want....

I was going to buy more fans for it also, and I noticed there are like 50milliion coolermaster 120mm fans on newegg that are look identical with different model #'s....

I believe the fans for the CM 690 II Advanced are slightly different - 140 mm, 1,200 RPM fans in front and on top, and a 125 mm, 1,200 RPM in the rear. But it wouldn't hurt to know what the 690 has! There's no rush - I won't be ordering for another month or so. Thanks!

I just bought a couple of other fans for my RC-690. In addition to the stock fans in the front and back, I have a 120mmx25mm Coolermaster blue LED fan in the side (the stock side fan lost a blade), and a 120mmx38mm Scythe Ultra-Kaze on top.

Sure, the 3 chassis fans that my CM 690 has are all 120mm, DC12v 0.16A, with the model # A12025-12CB-3BN-F1

I reallly like the case. It is much bigger than normal Mid-towers.

However, I have a Corsair 750TX (non-modular), and its cables are HUGE/thick.

So, it was utter hell to slide them through the opening on the motherboard tray, and then TRY to close the side panel after I was done zip-tieing and using electrical tape to flatten the cables down.

I had to flip the computer tower over and kinda put my arms down on the side panel to close the damn thing.

Next time I will buy a modular power supply or get a case that has a bigger hole under the mobo tray for better cable management.

I've been completely unable to find fans that match the stats that Cooler Master has listed for the 690 II Advanced, and then I noticed that if you switched the dBA listed for the 120 fans with that of the 140 fans, they match up with current fans being sold by Cooler Master! Maybe the problem is just a big typo? We won't really know until someone who's bought this case peeks at the fans and posts the Model Numbers.

Anyways, with the numbers switched you can match up to 120mm x 25mm fans running 1200 RPMs at 19 dBA with 44 CFM.

You also end up with 140mm x 25mm fans running 1200 RPMs at 17 dBA with 60 CFM.

Does this make sense to everyone?
