Uninstall windows xp updates

windows installed an update but install was cancelled before complete install. went to add remove programs saw update but when I tried to uninstall error said it was not found, I can no longer get to the internet because of this update but cant remove it. i do not have a restore point since it was off by accident

If restore points were turned off, then you'll have no luck going that route. You can try this software, but if the install was cancelled, there may not be any uninstall information.
