Need some help

I have 2 issues I am facing before I finally purchase the rest of the parts for my build. Issue number one is memory. The MOBO/CPU combo is as follows:

AMD Athlon II X4 630 Propus 2.8GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Processor Model ADX630WFGIBOX - Retail

The forum has recommended the following memory:

The only issue I have with this is that it is intended for Intel CPU's. I am not sure if I am comfortable enough (1st Build) doing the extra stuff in the BIOS to get it to work correctly. Does anyone else have any recommendations or can give me an idea as to what is involved with using this memory with a AMD.

Which one would be better? I would prefer a larger screen but if the picture is crap then what good is it?

RAM being made specifically for a CPU is mostly marketing. Changing things in BIOS is as easy as changing a Windows setting. Besides, you're going to have to check that it's working to the specs anyway. To change it is just a couple additional keystrokes.

The Dell is back up to $200. And they're very similar on the other specs.

Then I would go with the Dell. They use a very high quality vendor for thier monitors (the name escapes me right now), and provide excellent support.

So with the G. Skill Ripjaw memory I referenced earlier how do I determine the BIOS settings to use with my setup?

You check online with the manufacturers. Or you can look at the sitcker on the side of the sticks.

Dell has an agreement with Samsung for their TFT screens. Samsung makes the screens and the guts, Dell then slaps on their branding and package, and VIOLA! Dell monitors.

The monitor is not actually dell. It is a Viewsonic being sold through the Dell website.
