How to overclock my G-Skill Sniper Ram

November 29, 2012 1:49:03 AM

Ok I've never overclocked anything before but I'd like to attempt to. I have 2sticks of 4GB DDR3-1866 G-Skill Sniper RAM. I tried finding guides on here but they appear to be wayyy out dated.

Can someone tell me where to go in the bios, and exactly what voltage to turn it up to or whatever. Any help is appreciated.

Here is my build just incase it's needed:

- Windows 7 64bit
- Asrock Extreme 4 Z77 Motherboard
- Intel I5 3470 CPU
- EVGA GTX670 GPU
- DDR3-1866 G-SKILL Sniper 8GB RAM
- Samsung 256GB SSD
- Western Digital 500GB HDD
- Seasonic 620Watt Modular PSU
- Asus Blu-Ray Player
- IN-WIN GRone Full Tower
- 27" Viewsonic LED IPS Monitor
- Logitech G600 Gaming Mouse
- Logitech G110 Backlit Keyboard
- Logitech Z623 Speaker System

Edit: I think I found where to go in the bios, now I just need to know what the suggested voltage you guys would recommend.
