Will the Cooler Master RS-460-PMSR-A3 PSU

be significantly better than the HIPRO 350W OEM PSU that I currently have

I'm asking this because it seems to me that both the cooler master and Hipro have 2 12v/18amp rails but the cooler master, even with its 110 extra watt advantage, can only put out 12 more watts on its rails. Will the 12 extra watts make it significantly better than the HIPro?

The max load on the CM is 401.5watts it says on the sticker on all the + rails, I do not believe it to be a viable upgrade from the HIPRO!

^+1 on the Corsair recommendation.. Its priced properly and carries decent specs along with an 80% efficiency rating in comparison to the 70% efficiency offered by the CM unit.. So if you are looking to upgrade from that Hipro unit, the Corsair CX 430 is the one to go for..

Don't know what your budget is but the psu is not the place to skimp.
I agree the CX430 would be a good replacement.
If it were my system i would buy this
