Thermal compound?

I am about to install an Intel Core i3-530 into a gigabyte ga-h55m-usb3 motherboard. Do I need a thermal compound or it included with the processor?

If you bought the Retail version of the CPU then the stock heat sink will have thermal paste pre-applied. There is no need for separate thermal paste.
