Problems with viewsonic computer monitors

My viewsonic monitor was working great until I brought it to work and hooked it up to my laptop for a powerpoint presentation. While I was working the screen went to all white. I tried a different monitor with my laptop and it worked fine, also tried replacing to cord and still no change. The screen did appear to be flickering slightly a few minutes before the screen went white. Any help would be appreciated, I don't really want to purchase a new one.

This is probably you problem. They had a series of bad caps at one time.
