Hello,I'm currently running into problems setting up a MSI Eclipse Plus MB with a i7 920. I'm using win7 Pro 64bit, and 6gb of Kingston DDR3@1333. The HD is a Maxtor 250gb (saving up for SSD) and a GTS250 video card(also saving up for a better card later). The problem im having now is that when I try to download the latest drivers for my kit it starts locking up even after a reboot. I'm thinking it could be bad RAM. Oh and my PSU is a Cougar 700CM. Thanks in advance for the help guys!

Which exact RAM kit do you have?

Have you manually set the RAM speed/timings/voltage to the correct settings in the BIOS? Have you run Memtest86+ overnight to test for RAM erros? Did you perform a clean install of the OS with the new system? I'm assuming you're aware that you can't take a hard drive out of one system and put it in another system without a clean install. What are your idle/load CPU temps?
