So I was trying to install a new video card, right? Well, in the process of uninstalling the old card's drivers, I somehow uninstalled my CPU. Right now, I'm staring at my tower's boot screen, and it says my main processor is "Unknown CPU Type." There's also something about IDE drives, as well as something about AWDFLASH.exe. I can't enter Safe Mode, nor can I enter setup via DELETE.

Help? :(

You can't uninstall a cpu like that. What has happened is you've knocked the heatsink on your cpu, or there is a problem with your new graphics card which prevents your pc from booting.

Take out your card, make sure your cpu heatsink is sitting correctly, and reboot. If it works, try reinstalling the card again. :)

Alright, I'll give that a try. I'll report back my findings. :) Many thanks.

EDIT: Hm, how does one go about doing this? Also, if it's any help, I haven't been able to install the new card's drivers because of this problem, and I'm not referring to the Windows boot screen. I'm talking about the black screen that details all of your computer's specs, etc.
