Corrupt file and registry problem

i am unable to install java, says it is corrupt. what can i do to resolve this issue. heelp! thanks

Download the Java install file again.

i tried downloading 4 times. do i need to buy a registry cleaner. or is there something i can do.

May be it would be the problem of corrupted registry. Try Recoveryfix for Registry Cleaner Software. Registry repair software scans and optimizes windows system registry and make system error free.

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

Before messing up your Registry with dubious "cleaners", go into Conotrol Panel>Add and Remove Programmes and uninstall all Java references to get rid of the older versions. Delete the downloads you already have then restart the system before trying a fresh download from java.com again.
