Hello,
I have an asus HD 5970 and I'm just wondering if there are any new drivers besides the ones on AMD's site. I have the 10.1 catalyst, but the driver version is 8.6xx and on AMD's site they recommend using driver 8.xHemlock beta something rather. But that was done in november. Are there any new drivers out there that work better than this one? I'm having hell just keeping my machine from crashing.

Thanks

Hey There,

Stick with 9.12 hotfix for the time being. 10.1 was a disaster on my setup.

Good Luck. :hello:

then try some games or something that would stressing your card and see whether it crash or not... :)
If the latest one can't stable then try the older one or the one that came on the CD...

it's a modded driver named Enzyme 1.1 beta 2 (for now)
use it at your own risk and there's enzyme 1.0 too, It's stable.

10.1 and 10.2 are fine with a fresh install of windows.......
only problem is powerplay taking the card down to 157mhz/300mhz on overclock
