Hello,
Hi I have a newly built i7 computer with a gtx260 graphics card installed. My problem is that I am trying to run windows 7 on it but my monitoris not being detected. The monitor is working and I've checked all the connections which seems to be fine. I get power to everything. What do you think I should do?

Do you have big enough power supply ?

Do you have the twin 6 pin PCI-E power cables connected to the GFX card ?

Have you used the on screen monitor menu to pick the appropriate input ?

Sorry I could not reply to you sooner. I did all of that. The pc now randomly shuts itself off. I am now wondering if it could be an overheating problem.

The utility program reads :

CPU Temp : 53 c ; CPU Fan 2606 RPM ; CPU Voltage : 1.056v ; CPU Watt : 8.448w .
The CPU Temperature is between 48 c to 56 c most days. I don't push it too much out of fear.

I have 4 fans installed onto the case. Two 90mm on the side , a 120mm at the front and a 120 at the back. I am using the i7 920 stock fan. Should I replace them?

I would appreciate any advice given.
