ATI + nvidia 8800gts as physx card...SYSTEM CRASH WHEN TEST..HELP!!!

Hi guys,
I really need some major help please. I currently using WIndow 7 x64bit, have ATI 5770 and put nvidia 8800gts as my second slot. I applied the trick using Phys X mod 1.02 to allow nvidia control panel to enable "Physx" on. It worked, I enabled it.
PROBLEM IS: when I test it using FluidMark or any other kind of physx testing program to see if physx is working..everytime I load the test on any of the programs my system crash.. displaying blue screen error and that system need to be reboot to prevent hardware failure.

If anyknow can help whats the reason why... I tried playing Crysis and Left 4 Dead 2 in maxed setting, everything is fine, but then again those games don't require Physx.

OK maybe I should give this a try my self since I do have both brands my self. How ever I am using a x1900xt but have two 9800gt and a 8800gtx. Try to see if your 8800gts is in working order in case it is not fully working on its own. What is your psu (brand and model) and don't just give me wattage.

I CHECKED THE HARDWARE TO SEE IF THE 8800GTS IS WORKING, AND IT SAID IT IS WORKING PROPERLY...

Wasn't this answered on another identical thread? Apparently it's Fluidmark that's incompatible. Everything else should work fine.

Try using 3dmark vantage.

That post is useless open up the box and look on the psu for its rating and model. You need at least a high quality 400w unit or better to run just one of those and would recommend at least a 550w unit like the one I am using now.

The most obvious way to know it's working with 3dmark Vantage is your CPU score will be about double of what it would otherwise be.

Run it once with physX off, see the CPU score. You'll also see under 30 of what ever unit they are measuring during the last or 2nd CPU test. With physX on, you'll see about 100 or higher on that test.

There is a test that is both cpu/physx(graphics) based. So d/l demo run performance preset, it won't let you change any settings withing the benchmark itself. Then run again but disable physx in your control panel that you have before enabled. There should be a couple thousand point difference , or more than a few hundred that might be normal variance.

Hi guys this is the first time i put my question on this forum, so my computer crashs everytime when i start a game. there is nothing to do after crash just push the reset button and sometimes it crashs itself without anything opened .
