Apparently only the 2400 and 3400 series can use Hybrid Crossfire.

You can however your second PCIE slot is only x4 bandwidth that might actually hurt performance in some games if you choose to crossfire.

You don't enable hybrid crossfire with that combo and even if you could you wouldn't want to.

2 slots at 16x isn't really necessary FYI, two at x8 is alright as well.

If you already have the motherboard in the thread title I wouldn't replace it just to get crossfire. If you want an upgrade I would just Ebay the HD4770 and buy a more powerful card. Perhaps the HD5830 when it is released, or the HD5850 if you can afford it.
What is the native resolution of your monitor btw?

You cant enable Hybrid crossfire with 4770 card.

if you want crossfireX feature go for another 4770 card and you can use new crossfireX feature. you can play the games with good performance.
