Gigabyte GA-P55a-UD3 Board won't boot

This board won't boot. I can only go into the BIOS. It sees the DVD-ROM, the SATA HD, and the 4Gig of G.Skill DDR3, Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core. But just goes to BIOS - won't boot to CD.

  1. The boot-priority settings might be wrong. Your computer might be trying to boot from the harddrive first. I assume you are trying to install your OS and that there's no OS on the hard drive? Go into the BIOS and set the boot priority to be CD/DVD then HDD. Some computers have the default set to HDD, which is very annoying.
