In dell laptops certain keys are not working after i press the function keys

In am using Dell N5010 after i press the function keys the keys below that line that is numerical keys 1 to 10 and - & + (except backspace) are not working kindly advice what will be the reason and how to resolve this issue

Try this, someone else had similar issue.

"dell n5010 function keys not displaying on screen but working
problem solved by myself anyways thanks for helping, its just an software defficiency which is resolved by installing an application called QUICKSET from the dell driver support website."
