Trouble with New HDD SATA and Asus Mobo Tags: New Build SATA Hard Drives Systems Last response: February 20, 2010 11:00 PM in Systems Share Anonymous February 20, 2010 10:57:23 PM Hello, I am building a new i7 desktop. So far, system is posting, having video, mem recognized and DVD working. Put HDD SATA (WD Green) on same power line (and tried dedicated power line) as DVD. No signs of life - BIOS has HD not detected. Actally have 2 new HDD (same model), neither working. Don't hear drives "revving to life" or anything. Is it possible I got 2 DOAs? Thanks in advance for your help. Scott More about : trouble hdd sata asus mobo JackNaylorPE February 20, 2010 11:00:08 PM You have both power and signal cables connected to HD's ?
