Trouble with New HDD SATA and Asus Mobo
Feb 20, 2010, 10:57 PM
I am building a new i7 desktop. So far, system is posting, having video, mem recognized and DVD working.
Put HDD SATA (WD Green) on same power line (and tried dedicated power line) as DVD.
No signs of life - BIOS has HD not detected. Actally have 2 new HDD (same model), neither working.
Don't hear drives "revving to life" or anything.
Is it possible I got 2 DOAs?
Thanks in advance for your help.
