Cpu temperature

sir,i am srinivasan.N from bangalore. my doubt is - actually the cpu temperature sensor is located in motherboard or inbuilt with cpu processor?

It depends on how old your platform is.
Some early platforms did have temperature sensors built into the motherboard.
Any halfway recent CPU will have thermal sensors built in.

Perhaps if you could post more information on your system?
