Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

You can check the warranty at their website but you may find it's shorter than you think if they supplied the disk to the manufacturer of your computer.

If you buy a disk direct you get a five year warranty but the PC maker only gives you one year - probably because they get huge discounts for bulk buying and agree to take a short guarantee from Western Digital.

When I checked your serial number as a US sale it came up "invalid serial number" so go here:-
