kindly be specific in describing your problem.
Give specs when you post your problem.

Did u try new drivers,watch out for any yellow flags for your dvd rom in device manager.if so install latest drivers.

Does it detect any other optical disks?

Check for the cable and it's connections.

my DVD ROM was not working I changed it but still its not working . Now it is not showing in my computers also
