System repair to factory settings

Hello, i can't access the repair sector on the hard disc,so i can't return pc to factory settings, because the f10 key no longer activates it.
Is there a command i can type in the run box that will fix it,or is the hard disc compromised?.
ps i dont have a seperate rescue disc. Del Boy

  1. If Windows still boots up, look for a utility that can create a set of recovery discs.
  2. Check in the BIOS for a hard-drive test option, or from the PC vendor's web site for a disk with a disk test utility.

If the drive restore does not work, you can probably order a restore disk from the PC vendor, should not cost too much.
