I have a HP Pavilion Slimline S3000Y computer with 160 W power and a GeForce 8400GS Video Card;
now my new 24"LCD Monitor keeps blinking on and off;
could the Video Card be corrupt,
or what could cause this blinking?
Do I need to upgrade the power supply?

you need a new power supply
i think the minimum spec for that card is a 300w power supply
