Hardware Wizard can't find driver software Win xp

Downloaded correct drivers 945GCM5-L-V2 Intel Chipset Device from msi, using laptop, took over to PC,unzipped - unpacked and ran set up, to this point all good. Device Manager - Other Devices-
Update Drivers......the ran wizard but, wizard cannot find software.
regardless of where it looks. 18hours and going crazy....
