I have a software error that causes a crash if no printer is assigned. To test and debug, I need to remove the default printer from my computer - how do I do this?
You must disconnect the printer and uninstall the driver.
I tried this and it does not solve the issue. If the printer is set as default printer, Windows will not let me remove the drivers, even if the printer is not connected. If it is not set as default printer, removing the drivers does not affect the default printer status of the current default printer.
