Quick advice

hey i got a new mobo and cpu a little while back and like a week afterwards it started giving me problems like when i would plug in my 1tb ext hd, and press my computer afterwards the page would be blank and on the left where it would show the libraries there would be a looking glass and that would stay until i turned off the comp and when it would turn off it would take like 10-15min to turn off, very odd on a brand new 17 960, and there's another little thing like when i would try to copy a file from anywhere to my desktop it will take 10-15 min to appear....and so i thought it was the mobo so i got a new one but it just started happening again and was wondering what you might think it is......thx for any replies
