External hard drive price

Hi....
Am a new comer to the tom's world of hardwares...
So this is my first question to all those techies around the world.
When will the price of external hard drives fall down. I meant about western digital external hard drives. Preferrably of size above 2TB. Has the water level decreased in thai yet........????
