Choppy 1080p videos

Hello,
I have a PC with 1GB RAM and 128 MB of inbuilt graphics. All the 1080p videos used to work fine. But from past 2-3 weeks all the 1080p videos are playing choppy. I re-installed the OS and scanned for virus, no virus was found. I changed the "Skip H.264 in-loop deblocking filter" in VLC to "ALL", still the videos are choppy.

Is the CPU overheating and slowing down? Check the CPU cooler for a buildup of dust and clean it is necessary.

I'm not sure if its over heating. All other programs run fine. Only when I play 1080p videos the CPU usage shoots to 100%. I cleaned the CPU cooler anyway. Still choppy.

And you installed all the Microsoft updates and the latest video driver?
