Need help building/upgrading PC

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: This week. Budget about £300.00 but flexible

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: This system is for my Son, the main use will be capturing video from an xbox360 and editing using a black Magic pci video capture card, good gaming power would also be an advantage but not as important as graphic processing

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse, monitor,speakers, case, operating system windows 7, GeForce 8800 GTS 512 graphics card, power supply coolmaster 450W product no.RS-450-ACLY re-use if possible?

OVER CLOCKING: Maybe SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: The main components required are: motherboard, processor and fan, memory and a large hard drive 1tb? Possible new power supply?

Is this processor good for over clocking, do I need to upgrade the fan, if so can you recommend one?

Typically, AMD CPUs are good overclockers. A good HSF is the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus. I didn't see it on ebuyer though...
