Disabling the Graphix card

If the Cpu's Motherboard does not have an adapter and if you have a dedicated graphix card of nvidia or ati will disabling it when not playing games save power or will it cause the screen to go black ?

If you have a dedicated graphics card in your computer you should disable it if you are not using it for another monitor. Indeed this should save you on electricity, and you should disable onboard/integrated graphics for best compatibility.
