I agree. Probably a ceramic cap. Looks like the part burned from the spots on your board. If you can find a schematic, I can probably help you out on the cap. You need to be really careful when you solder new part because the ceramic will crack with heat. That is probably why it failed in the first place. My guess is is is a .10 uF as that is usually the highest runner for this application but not sure.
