G.Skill 8GB (2 x 4GB) PC3-12800 1600MHz to existing "Kingston 4GB (2x2GB) KIT HY

I am thinking about adding a "G.Skill 8GB (2 x 4GB) PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3 RAM – 9-9-9-24 – Ripjaws Series" to the existing "Kingston 4GB (2x2GB) KIT HYPERx 1600Mhz DDR3".

Would the new memory going to be compatible with my mobo: Gigabyte GA MA785GT UDH3 (it supports up to 16GB)?

Can't really remember what was the timings for Kingston 4GB, do they have to match with a G.Skill timings, which are "9-9-9-24"?

You would have the best chance of getting them to work together if they have have the same latencies and voltage requirements. Your Kinston RAM should have stickers that tell you the freq., latencies, and voltage. If they do not match, you may be successful by setting the RAM BIOS settings to the higher of the two kits' latencies. Remember to increase your northbridge voltage one or two increments higher than the default voltage setting to adjust for the new load from adding the new RAM.
