hey guys

need alittle advise, builing a new gaming pc. im alittle outdated on all the new hardware ^^ so i was thinking of copying a system my local pc shop builds.

Would this be a wise build? i currently have a geforce 275 GTX, would it be wise to upgrade to a Radeon HD 5870 in this new system? or should i get another 275 GTX and sli?

yea i am planning on building something with similar spec's to the one in the link.
only spare parts i would use from my current pc is my storage drive a 1 tb wd. and my 275 GTX. planning on giving my old pc away to my bro.


my montior max res is 1680 by 1050. but i am planning on upgrading this aswell some time soon.

You can look at some reviews about the GPUs If it was me i would just run my GTX 275 2 i hade to upgrade it

performance wise does that i5 core compare to a i7 860 or 920?

prices are in $'s prob could squeeze abit more out my budget but uk prices are abit more costy

also was reading that the 920 is really nice for oc'ing, would it be wise to pick this over the 860? and for overclocking would "Coolit Systems Domino A.L.C Silent Watercooling System" offer better cooling than fanbased cooler's?
