Would I benefit from more RAM besides more capacity?

At the moment I have 2/4 RAM slots occupied by 2x2GB DDR2 1066 RAM modules on dual channel.
4 GB of RAM is plenty for me.
If I were to buy another pair of dual channel RAM modules, either 2x1GB or 2x2GB DDR2 1066, would I gain any benefits besides having more GB of RAM?
I'm on windows 7 64-bit and my motherboard can support up to 16 GB of RAM; so yes, my rig can support and recognize the additional RAM.

Short answer...no. But it really depends on what you are doing with the computer. Gaming, no...Photoshop, yes. Multitasking yes. Everyday average gamer/user, no

I'm a gamer so I guess I won't be buying another pair of RAM.
