Anyone know what nand memory patriot pyro use

I'd vote for the cheap 120 GB drive, myself. Read this and see what it says to you: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/sata-6gbps-performance-sata-3gbps,3110-8.html

According to this review, it has synchronous flash: http://hothardware.com/Reviews/Patriot-Pyro-SE-SATA-III-Solid-State-Drive-Review/

According to the Patriot site, not: "Sandforce SF-2200 Series SSD Processor paired with qualified 25nm Asynchronous MLC NAND flash for best performance, value and reliability," from http://patriotmemory.com/products/detailp.jsp?prodline=8&catid=85&prodgroupid=217&id=1114&type=17 .

How's that for confusion? EDIT: My mistake; the first one is the PYRO PE.

Here is the link to the ssd database:

Scroll down to the Patriot section where you will find links to no less than 15 technical reviews of the original Patriot Pyro. I'll bet just about all of the technical reviews open up the ssd in order to identify the nand, controller and other components. You'll also find a link to the manufacturer's product page.

The Patriot Wildfire is the one w/ the fancy smancy (read fast) Flash

Today we are looking at the stepped up Chronos Deluxe model that uses the same SandForce SF-2281, but pairs it with premium 3Xnm Toshiba Toggle Mode Flash. To date there are very few companies offering SSDs with Toshiba Toggle flash. We've already seen the Patriot Wildfire, OWC Mercury Extreme Pro 6G (latest revision) and OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS,
