How can I stop a Windows XP upgrade?

Hello,
I have a pc running WinXP Media Center which I was having issues with after removing some nasty malware. I used an XP SP3 OEM disk to attempt a repair and it is asking for a license key, which I don't have. Now my pc is stuck in an install loop, if I reboot without the cd, it still wants to complete the installation and there is no option at this point to cancel. Any ideas?
