Can anyone tell me if an abit ai7 motherboard work with a 64 bit os?
will it be a better gaming computer with windows 7 64 bit vs. windows xp 32 bit?

Unless you are going to install more than 4GB of RAM then I'd go Windows 32-bit; three are less issues with Windows 32-bit and there is no performance gain, and IF your primary Apps are 32-bit then they will run slower and NOT faster.
