Just got my i7, critique the build before I finalize!

Just got my cheap i7 920 and EVGA x58 LE at Microcenter for $400 plus tax. This is what I'm thinking for the rest of my build, check it out:

-Either CM Sniper or Scout. Considered the HAF 922 but too ugly
-Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB - $90
-Corsair 750W - $100 after MIR
-OCZ Gold 6GB DDR3 1600 - $140 after MIR
-Sony Optiarc 24x - $28
-Windows 7 Home OEM - $105
-Scythe Mugen 2 - $40
-EVGA GTX 260 - $215

Solid build? And yeah I know ATI has cheaper Radeons, I just prefer Nvidia.

I'm a fan of the Nvidia cards as well but if your buying tomorrow Radeons cards are better performers.

I would wait until March and check out the GTX 400 series.

Solid Build...

I would look at the Cooler Master CM690 II Advanced over the Sniper or Scout. Also, the Antec 902 is a nice case and will fit your build requirements.

Thanks! @BlackKnight, I just want a good card, nothing extravagant like Fermi GTX 400s haha. But what do you suggest thats from ATI (around the 200 price range)

You can pick up a ATI 4890 for around $200 and it is better than the GTX 260.

I would suggest a HD 5850 its $300 so probably outside you price range now but with the DX11 support it should be an effective gaming card for the next year or 2.

You havent actually mentioned what you intend to do with this computer im assuming budget gaming machine.

I would go with Tecmo's suggestion and get the HD4890 if $300 is expensive.

if your going to be building this close to the end of march i would wait for the gtx 400 series release, it should push the radeon prices down even further.
