Can i prevent .exe file installation

Hello,
could you please someone tell me how to prevent .exe file installation on xp windows in admin user, from registry or any other way to block exe file installation.

The admin user is there for the purpose of, among other things, installing software. Rather than try to prevent it from doing what it is meant for, you can create a user account that does not have admin privileges and use that account, or give it to the user in question.
