What happened to a system that can not boot and is beeping and be blinking light

my computer can boot when it shoes welcome it stops and be blinking red light what happened

have you installed any new software? I would try to boot in safe mode and make sure you dont have any issues in safe mode, then attempt to find out what is causing the issue. I am not sure I understand stops and then blinking light but if you mean it shuts down and only the power light blinks, that could be a hardware issue.
