GTX 285 Upgrade Question

This is my current rig runs fine except in Crysis on high. I updated my Nvidia drivers and now I am getting intermittant freezing while playing. Question should I upgrade to the new est GPU or SLI another GTX 285?

I would just roll back the drivers. You have a great system, but I suspect that the new drivers weren't very good.

any thoughts on oc this cpu? Is it even needed for games?

It's not really needed, but I certainly would think about doing it since you've got the CPU cooler already. It shouldn't be too hard as long as you're not trying to go for a massive overclock.
