Hello, this will be my first mid-range gaming rig build built all by myself and it will be the first time that I will hopefully successfully OC! As tempting as it would be too just ask people what settings I should enter to OC I is a firm believer in learning and taking steps to know wtf is going on. Let’s get too it!

System

MB: Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293
CPU i5 3570k http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116504RA
RAM:G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820231416
PSU: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817139010
Cooler: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065
Case: Rosewill THOR V2-White Edition (excited about this) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147158
Video Card: HIS Radeon 5850 *Note Didn’t think buying an upgrade was quite worth the money involved. I am however thinking that I might pass this along to my younger brother and rebuying 2x 5870 perhaps Sapphire Toxic editions if I can find them. (Let me know if you know anyone that’s selling 2 of these bad boys!)

Now basically what I am asking of this community is if anyone has any experience working with the BIOs of this board and what terms I should familiarize myself with or any sound advice from firsthand experience with this Z77 extreme4. Thank you ahead of time!

Just to let you know. That case ROCKS! I have the black version, did it all up in red. The stock 230mm's are pretty epic! The thing is absolutely a monster though. Beware, it's literally the biggest case I've ever had in my house! LOL

Hey no need to thank me, thank the video creator instead, if you want drop a thank you in the comments section...

- Good Luck, let this fox or steddora know if you have any other questions. Steddora should be online for tonight, so he will be able to assist if you have any other questions. As for me, I'll be awake for the next three hours and will then be back in six hours...(sleep).

EPIC! :) Best thing about these newer generation chip; Intel seems to like overvolting from the factory LOL I was running 1.3v on stock settings with my 2600k@3.4Ghz. I clocked to 4Ghz at 1.15v LOL

And that case, I'll back that case every time. I absolutely LOVE mine. In my opinion; it's better build than the Antec 1200 and is definitely more "plentiful" than the Thermaltake level 10GT. You got the right has for clocking that's for sure.

Ahaha

You know what's ironic? Shortly after I made the comment you need to sleep more, my teachers placed heap loads of work on me and I am still working on it as we speak right now...its 12:38 am now, and I am an early riser so I wake up at 5:00 am EVERY weekday...guess I have lots of sleep to catch up on friday, saturday and sunday. It's been like this starting from monday, I guess the tables have turned....

Muahahahhahaha! I remember those days! Stay up until 2AM, be at my full time labor job at 6AM, get off at 3:30 and start working on school work until 2AM again... I lived on Monster! LOL

See what happens when you poke fun at an insomniac? :)
