Yes you can. It has "2 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (dual @ x16 )". SLi requires 2 x PCIe slots (which this board has) and to your luck both are running @ x 16 (Highest bandwidth available) =). You should not have any problems running SLi - just make sure you don't forget to use an SLI Bridge cable once you use both cards xD.

Not a problem. It actually depends on the chipset the AMD board has. In your case (as you can read from just the title of your board: ASUS M4N98TD EVO AM3 NVIDIA nForce 980a SLI ATX AMD Motherboard) you have the NVIDIA nForce 980a chip. This is what allows you to have two PCIe slots for SLi configuration.

Plus you can't miss the "SLi" in "SLi ATX AMD Motherboard" lol xD!
